We were visiting from Atlanta and I found this place on Yelp. Fantastic service. Super friendly atmosphere. Nice portions. Great BBQ. I would recommend the Chatt Smoke House and I'd return when I'm in the area.

Born and raised in Chattanooga but been serving on active duty in the U.S. Navy for 28 years. When visiting, I always try to eat at Sunset Bbq. Not to sure why but they closed early on 13 July. A quick search of Yelp yielded several bbq joints but this one caught my eye.
All around good vibes and great rib sandwiches!!
Portion: Bountiful amount of tasty ribs.
Sauce: Mild. Not spicy like sunset.
Toppings: Slaw.
Definitely my new spot for bbq when visiting. Sorry sunset, I think this is my new spot. -

The staff were very friendly and their sweet tea was pretty good. It's hella sweet but it made the rest of the bbq feel complete. We got the bbq ribs and the chicken. I loved my bbq ribs bc they fell off the bone and were very tasty. My colleague somewhat enjoyed his chicken, although it didn't look like it was too bbq'd. The sides were ok, I had some fries and they were pretty average. The place isn't too overly expensive, which was nice too. Definitely would come back if given the chance to, love me some bbq

A wonderful stop in Chattanooga! It's the perfect location between a few breweries to walk to for some tasty and filling food. The staff was very attentive and funny! The portions are HUGE and amazing. The all star dishes were definitely the ribs and the okra. The rib plate had me stuffing my face and still having leftovers approximately 20 napkins later. The okra was perfectly seasoned and fried, some of the best I've ever had! My sister spoke very highly of the pork sandwich and recommended "going all the way" which meant adding coleslaw to the sandwich.
Thanks for the complimentary cake at the end of the meal! Would definitely come back if I was in town again. -

Some of the best ribs I've ever had. The barbecue sauce is very tasty. The potato salad and baked beans were just like I like them. Probably my favorite baked beans around town. The inside is small but pretty open with about eight tables to sit at. The guys at the counter taking your order are always super nice and friendly! It was $12 for a huge platter of ribs and two sides.
